Hello there Internet friend, and great question. THIRTY-FOUR DEGREES is a Los Angeles-based creative content agency specializing in blah blah blah pretentious buzzwords blahhh.

Let’s try that again, but this time with feeling.

I was born in a sleepy little town called Los Angeles, California but moved to Philadelphia when I was five years old. There I grew up on a steady diet of cheesesteaks and hoagies while watching Rocky on repeat and listening to Boyz II Men all day, so as to have a credible backstory full of Philadelphia stereotypes for a future company bio. I went to high school in Portland, Oregon (my mom was really into the moving cross-country thing, I guess) and then came back to LA for college (go Bruins) and have been here since. I suppose you could say that my life has come full triangle, if that were a normal thing that normal people said.

The name of my company (THIRTY-FOUR DEGREES, in case you forgot) is an homage to its location, as Los Angeles is conveniently located at 34ºN latitude on Google Maps and maps in general. But in addition to being my literal birthplace, LA is really my creative motherland as well; it’s where I decided that I wanted to pursue this life of crafting and telling stories.

So, TL;DR: I make films and take photos, because I think those are some of the most powerful ways to tell a story – and also because it’s pretty fun. I strive to tell these stories with imagination and authenticity, knowing that more often than not, honest art translates into good art. I believe every story is different and yours matters, and I would love to help you tell that story. Help me, help you. Jerry Maguire.

When I’m not pointing my camera at things, I enjoy the ball sports, Jameson on the rocks, McConnell's Ice Cream, and wondering why Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are so much better than Reese’s Pieces.

Thanks for visiting and feel free to say hello!
